Product Description

Wang's Manpu-strips are made of imported Tau-fluvalinate material. This contact and ingestion acaricide features no volatility. It demonstrates its killing effect through direct contact and transmission to varroa mites by bees. The varroa mites become poisoned, weakened, and eventually killed, falling from the hive. The complete process requires sufficient time, with effects becoming apparent hours after hanging. Recommended usage period is 21-28 days during no-larvae periods. Treatment during larvae exiting periods is more challenging and requires extended application time. The medication remains efficacious for up to 60 days.

Usage Instructions

Trial Required: Test on 2-3 colonies before full yard application. Observe for 48 hours before planning implementation.
Dosage: One piece for 4-comb hive, hung in main bee path away from hives. Two pieces for 5-8 comb hives, positioned between third/fourth and sixth/seventh combs in diagonal line. Adjust accordingly for 10+ combs.
Application Timing: Applicable year-round. Optimal timing is before spring reproduction and after autumn honey harvest. Most effective during no-larvae periods. Extend to 6-8 weeks during larvae exiting periods.
Yard Assessment: Determine application timing based on specific yard conditions and mite infestation levels.
