• Dosage: Use one strip for a 10-frame comb hive, hanging over the main beeway. Replace after 1 week with a new strip. Apply twice as a complete treatment course. Adjust dosage for hives with fewer than 10-frame combs or heavy mite infestation. Do not use during honey flow period.
• Mechanism: Made from flumethrin, this contact and ingestion acaricide works without volatility. Killing effect occurs when bees touch the strips and transfer the active ingredient to varroa mites. Mites become poisoned, weakened, and eventually fall off. The process requires adequate time and takes effect hours after hanging. Treatment duration should be 21-28 days during non-larvae periods.
• Treatment Period: Can be used year-round, with optimal timing before spring propagation or after autumn honey flow. Most effective during brood-free periods. If used during brood time, extend treatment duration as female mites remain in the hive. Best application time is morning during good weather conditions.
