This bee medicine is made of high-quality valproic acid (flumethrin). It is a non-volatile acaricide that functions through contact and consumption. • Trial Required: Choose 2-3 colonies for trial before applying to the whole yard. Observe for 48 hours before making a treatment plan.
• Dosage: One piece for 4-comb hive, hung in the main bee path away from hives. Two pieces for 5-8 comb hive, hung between the third and fourth comb and between the sixth and seventh in a diagonal line. Adjust accordingly for 10 combs.
• Medicine Applying Time: Can be used any time during the year. Best time is before spring reproduction and after autumn honey harvest. Most effective during no larvae period. During larvae exiting period, extend treatment to 6-8 weeks as most female varroas are in honeycomb.
• Timing Determination: Determine medicine applying time according to yard situation.
